- The Purpose Of The Writing :
- To know how to instal mikrotik with GNS 3.
- To know how to configure mikrotik at GNS 3.
- Basic Concepts :
GNS3 is a grapichal network Simulator that allows simulation of compleks network.
- Configuration :
1. Open CMD as administrator.
2. Then type the command cd .. to get out of the system 32.
3. Then type the cd .. again to get out of the windows.
4. We must go to the Program Files Folder, so type the command cd Program Files.
5. Next we must to go to the folder GNS3, type the command cd GNS3.
6. Next step, type the command qemu-img.exe create -f qcow2 mikrotik.img 256M.
7. Next, you need to find the iso of Mikrotik in your folder, if you're don't have you can download it.
8. And then, copy the ISO Mikrotik to the Folder GNS at (C) Program Files - GNS3 then paste it.
9. When copying the folder, if the following warning appers, just klik continue.
10. After copying, go back to CMD. And then type the command qemu.exe mikrotik.img -boot d

The Mean of "Mikrotik-5.20-Cracked" that's the ISO name.
11. After that, will appear new screen that's a qemu screen and will automatic process, just wait up
for the next step.

12. After that, qemu will show a lot of software to be installed. You must press A button to select all.
13. Then look again, all software was selected. next press i button. and then press y button to
continue.

14. Next press y button again. It will automaticaly install. wait until the process is complete.
15. After waitng, qemu ask you to Reboot? then press the Enter button and then close the program.
16. Next you open the GNS3 program, after you open it choose the edit/preference/go to qemu/and
klik test setting. until you see the green text the GNS 3 is already to use.

17. Next klik qemu guest, enter the identifier name, binary image. Then klik Save/Apply/OK then
exit.
18. Next go to edit/symbol manager. Find the router then put the router to the right side. Then
change the name and the type of change into qemu guest, and klik apply.and then klik OK.

19. Then klik on image contains the hardware like the arrow. Then drag the router (mikrotik) to the
middle of the screen.

20. Next klik the router (mikrotik) and then klik the Start button on the top.
22. Finaly you can login the Mikrotik with qemu. you already succesfully installed the mikrotik in
qemu with GNS 3.
